- 1 1/2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat an air fryer to 180C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Combine the paprika, sugar, mustard powder, cornflour, onion powder and garlic powder in a medium shallow dish. Add the haloumi, a few pieces at a time, and stir to coat. Transfer to the prepared tray.
- Whisk the eggs in another medium shallow dish. Add the coated haloumi, a few pieces at a time, and stir to coat. Return pieces to the tray.
- Combine the breadcrumbs and thyme in another medium shallow dish. Add the haloumi, a few pieces a time, and turn to coat. Return pieces to the tray. Place in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Meanwhile, to make the maple hot sauce, place all ingredients in a small serving bowl and whisk to combine.
- Place the crumbed haloumi pieces in the air fryer and fry for 6-8 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is soft. Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with extra thyme and drizzle over a little maple hot sauce. Serve with remaining sauce.
