Ingredients

  • 100g softened butter
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • Baking tray
  • Butter

Instructions

  • Step 1 Preheat the oven to (electric 180 * C , fan 160 * C , gas 4.
  • Step 2 Lightly butter two baking trays.
  • Step 3 Make sure the butter into a bowl and beat to soften. Gradually beat in the sugar and flour . Bring the mixture together with your hands to form a dough.
  • Step 4 On the dough into 16 bowls about the size of a walnut and place spaced well apart on the prepared baking trays.
  • Step 5 Dip a fork into a little water and use this to flatten the biscuits.
  • Step 6 Bake in the tree heated oven for 15 - 20 minutes until a very pale gold.
  • Step 7 Left off the baking tray and leave too cool completely on a wire rack.
